About me
My name is Anna Hesselbom and I have worked professional with graphic design and illustration since 2005. I’ve been in the game industry since 2013. I have gained a broad experience from creating everything from web layouts, printed materials, vectorised game art to aquarelle illustrations. I love to try out different art styles. I live and work in Stockholm since 2012, and I love to explore what our beautiful city has to offer in my spare time together with family and friends. Besides drawing, I love crochet, crafting, gardening and cooking. I also play a lot with my small son and by now I’m a very experienced wood train driver and Duplo builder. I grew up in a small town i Dalarna, in the middle of Sweden. I’ve always loved to draw and this eventually led me into the studies and work of illustration and graphic design.
After high school I studied a two-year cartooning and illustration program at Högskolan i Gävle (2003-2005) followed by graduate studies in graphic design and communication at Linköpings Universitet (2007-2010). In parallell with my studies I ran my own business in which I mainly did book illustrations and graphic profiles for companies.
In 2010, I started at Dayviews (formerly known as Bilddagboken) as a web designer. I redesigned their graphic profile and made sketches which turned into a new web site. During 2011 Dayviews was bought by Nyheter24-gruppen and we moved from Linköping to Stockholm. At Nyheter 24-gruppen I worked as a web designer and made designs/layouts and art for their sites and different campaign pages.
I joined King and their in house agency, Brand Creative Studio, in 2013. Two years later, in 2015, I switched team and joined the Candy Crush Saga team as a game artist, in which I still thrives!
